A rural foundation
Chris grew up in a farming and ranching family, where livestock, equipment, land and daily responsibilities were a way of life. That background gave him a firsthand understanding of the work rural families and operations do every day.
He has also had the opportunity to work with some of the best small-town fire departments in the Texas Panhandle, learning from both volunteer and paid firefighters who serve their communities with limited resources and tremendous commitment.
Why he created RuralReady
Across rural operations, the same problem appears in different forms: important details are spread across paper forms, whiteboards, text messages, filing cabinets and someone’s memory. A failed truck check, fence repair, medication withdrawal date, water-source note or expense may be recorded—but not where the next person can easily use it.
RuralReady brings those experiences together in separate Fire, Ranch and Farm workspaces. The goal is not to replace professional judgment or the tools that already work. It is to connect the daily details so people can act sooner and report with confidence.

Early RuralReady customers can bring real workflow questions directly to the founder. That keeps support close to the people using the product and helps new improvements begin with actual rural work instead of generic software assumptions.
